Image Story - This cute little duckling is a Mallard. It was constantly surface feeding in the marsh as it swam, closer and closer. I attempted to get as low a perspective as possible - without falling into the water myself. A little more than a day after hatching, ducklings can run, swim, and forage for food on their own. This little one, I figured was 2-3 days old at most.
